Rob Henderson is Chief Economist, Markets, at National Australia Bank (NAB).

Rob has a Masters Degree in Economics from the Australian National University and 30 years experience working in economic forecasting and policy analysis roles with the Australian Government and the private sector. 

Rob joined NAB in 2001 from Dresdner Bank in Sydney, where he was a Director and the Chief Economist. 

Earlier in his career, Rob worked for the Federal Government in a number of roles, lastly with the Prime Minister’s Department in Canberra, providing policy advice to the then Prime Minister, Bob Hawke.
